Why This Must Be Read: I know an Apocafic is a strange rec in a post-Covid world, but this fic is absolutely a comfort fic of mine as well as being one of my all time favourites. Both John and Rodney have been alone for a long time: they each have their own ways of coping with the lonliness, and the way they learn to navigate their respective quirks having found each other is hopeful and warming.
