Why This Must Be Read: Offworld, the team is on their way back to the Stargate after having participated in a heartwarming native ceremony, when Daniel notices Teal'c seems to be abnormally quiet (even for Teal'c). However, it soon becomes clear Teal'c isn't simply quiet or withdrawn -- actually, he's angry and insulted. And what follows on from that realisation culminates in one of the most touching, poignant, and affirming scenes of friendship and honour that I have had the pleasure of reading. Indeed, a story to savour.
