Why This Must Be Read: I was very happy to see that this fic is now complete, so I can rec it here :) I have been following it regularly as it has been posted. It is a really different take on "In the Line of Duty", with Jolinar initially taking Jack O'Neill as host, and surviving. There are many great and fun exchanges between O'Neill and Jolinar, and also a lot of wonderful scenes with SG-1 being there for one another.

Note: The story is the first part in a series.

Although you are correct that it's an interesting & well written story, it is not even remotely correct to say that it is complete. It "ends" without any resolution of the situation and the author states quite clearly that a sequel is in the pipeline. Although calling them Pt 1 & 2 would be more accurate than original & sequel.

It would be appreciated if you could make it clear in future recs when it is a wip.

I didn't say it was a WIP, because I do not consider it one.
That story is finished, it is just part of a series. One part of a series is not a WIP.
Would you also consider one movie or book out of a series as unfinished?
